Auditions are held in mid-June and rehearsals begin shortly after. Children ages 8 - 16 from all over the South Shore are welcome to audition.
Rehearsals are held Monday through Thursday evenings in Hingham, either at St, John's Church or Hingham High School.
Once it gets closer to showtime, there is an all-day rehearsal called "Super Sunday" which entails polishing up scenes and numbers, learning the finale, performing in a talent show, and running the musical in its entirety.
After a long summer of hard work, our actors get to show off to a full audience during three nights of performances.
The cost of participation is $175 for one child and $125 for each subsequent child. This cost includes a show t-shirt.
We will work with you to make Kids' Cabaret possible for your children if the cost is an issue. We can provide scholarships and other assistance on a need-based scale.
